Whenever I need an attitude adjustment, I put on a kimono. It doesn’t matter what I’m wearing or where I’m going; it always perks up my mood and makes me feel pretty. This kimono adds just the right amount of funk to any outfit. In air conditioning or outside, it provides the perfect added layer of needed warmth.
This garment fastens at the waist with a copper, silver, and gold button as well as a magnetic clasp. The neckline and front are finished with a 1-inch band of the same fabric, accented at the seam with hand-stitched wine soutache cord. Garment hem is hand-stitched for a polished finish.
This fabric has been through the washer and dryer, so if you are caught in the rain, there will be no dye leakage or permanent spotting.
Content: polyester/rayon blend crushed velvet (polished knit finish on inside)
Care: Hand wash in cool water. Gently squeeze out excess water when rinsing, then layer between cotton towels, roll up like a sausage, and press to absorb moisture. Lay flat to dry, and if needed, use an iron on the wrong side with the silk setting, or use a steamer.
Each piece is handmade by me, using tailoring techniques and hand-stitching where needed to achieve a refined couture finish. Attention is paid to the tiniest detail. The copper buttons are also handmade.

Actual fabric measurements: this fabric has 2-3" of stretch.
Length, shoulder seam to hem bottom 31" - Sleeve is 13" in length and 20-23" wide.
The bust measures 60", the hips 62", and the bottom of the hem is 62" in diameter.
Shoulder seam is 12.5".
